The Fight To Free Kherson

Apparent moves in recent days on the southern front. Base image from Liveuamap, Blue solid arrows show initial UKR attacks, dashed show likely direction and potential supporting attacks. Red marks show approximate Russian defensive zones — hashes are the first and likely weakly held like, the second solid one indicates a tighter and more defensible region the first line forces can pull back to, and the third bubbles mark the bridgeheads Russian forces will hold to the last. Note that the nuclear facility at Enerhodar is being used as an artillery base to shell Nikopol, behind Ukraine’s lines.
The counteroffensive I wish Ukraine could launch.
